Clothing & jewelry: white tank top worn under a blue denim shirt, Levi's jeans, brown boots, a white gold engagement ring and four earrings with small round pink stones imbedded in the upper portions. Vehicle: 1988 dark blue, 4-door Honda Accord with Florida license plate EQ762E and a front vanity plate inscribed with her nickname "Sandy".
In 2000, Ms. Baker lived in the 60 block of Folk Road in Delaware Township with her fiance, William Thomas Crea, Jr. Mr. Crea told authorities that he had last seen Ms. Baker between 8:30am and 9:00am on May 25th, 2000 at the Sheetz convenience store on PA Rte 18 in Pymatuning Township near Transfer, PA.
Mr. Crea further stated that Ms. Baker phoned him at about 1pm that same day. She allegedly told him that she was in danger and unable to return home. She promised to call Mr. Crea in a few days, then terminated the conversation. She has never been heard from again and there has been no activity on her bank accounts since she disappeared.
On July 1, 2005, William Crea was named as a suspect in Ms. Baker's disappearance. No charges were filed against Crea but in March 2006, his friend, private detective Clifford Aley, was convicted and sentenced to 18 to 48 months in prison for hindering the state investigation into the Ms. Baker's disappearance. Police also believe that Mr. Aley was "instrumental in the disposal of Baker's vehicle." Her 1988 Honda Accord had been parked at Shenango Valley Mall the day she vanished.
